BLH offers the areas ONLY environmentally responsible solution for disposal of your old computer.  Our 20,000 sqft facility processes nearly 15,000 computers yearly.  When your computer no longer works for you, DO NOT throw it away, bring it to BLH for proper disposal. 

Computer recycling costs.  Anyone who does it for free is not doing it correctly.  BLH has partnered with several surrounding areas to provide this service at no charge to residents and businesses.  Residents of: Christian County, Green County, Morgan County, City of Springfield, City of Jacksonville, or City of Taylorville may recycle all computers and electronics at any BLH location at no charge.  If you are not a resident of those areas, there is a disposal charge of $10 for Monitors.  There are no other charges, with the exception of televisions.

Televisions carry the following charges: Counties and Cities listed above (participating areas) will be charged $20 per television regardless of size. Proof of residency with picture ID will be required to get the discounted rate. 
Residents of all other areas will be charged $50 per television regardless of size.  

BLH receives Grant funding from Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to grow and expand this program.
