About BLH Computers
History
BLH Computers, Inc. was founded by an informal group with years of industry experience. The company was formed to provide a source for used computers and parts at reasonable prices. Approximately half the company sales are done on the Internet through the eBay auction medium under the user ID of Cybervision. Our "brick and mortar store", located in the scenic city of Springfield, IL, houses a 26 bay onsite repair facility, 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse, complete deconstruction and recycling facilities, as well as our shipping and corporate offices. We also have locations in Jacksonville, IL and Taylorville, IL.
Today
Today BLH Computers ships computer parts to 33 countries, and all states and provinces of Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, and the United States. At any given time our warehouse contains thousands of computers, laptops, monitors, and printers. We provide computers and parts through a retail format as well as on-site computer repair and networking. Through our "give back to the community program" over $100,000,000 in computers have been donated to local churches, schools and charities. We are environmentally responsible with our computers; actively recycling non-working units to avoid having them end up in landfills. In FY 2007 over 600,000 lbs of computer scrap were diverted from Illinois landfills; offering a full service "cradle to grave" approach with technology. In FY 2008 we are on track to recycle nearly 1.2 million lbs.
